The CFO Day

This is the schedule for a typical day at CFO. Every day is a little different, but we follow this basic outline:

  • 7:30a • Morning Meditations - We begin each day listening to God and meditating on His Word as we quietly prepare ourselves for the day ahead with the Lord.
  • 8:00a • Breakfast
  • 9:15a • Morning Worship - Worshipping God through song…old hymns, contemporary worship music, and everything in between. We thrive on the joy of giving praise and thanksgiving to God.
  • 9:30a • Morning Talk - One of the speakers for the week shares with us what God has been doing in their life… powerful testimonies of God’s loving kindness and unfailing faithfulness.
  • 10:15a • Rhythms - Also known as “Devotion in Motion”, this part of the CFO day aims to worship God with our whole bodies by combining dance, music, and exercise in an uninhibited and child-like giving of ourselves in physical praise and worship to God.
  • 11:00a • Creatives - Featuring Creative Art & Writing, Creative Drama, Creative Music, Creative Conversation, and other activities, this part of the CFO day offers opportunities of expressing themself to our Creator. Campers are invited to enter the kindergarten of creativity and discover all the joyous opportunities for spiritual expression.
  • Noon • Lunch
  • Rest/Free Time
  • 4:00p • Prayer Groups - Prayer is the foundation of the CFO experience and involves silent prayer, spoken prayer, prayer for individual concerns, and group prayer. Because we have learned that God truly answers prayer, we take everything to Him readily and with confidence. The primary purpose of prayer groups is to seek God and experience His loving presence.
  • 5:15p • Dinner
  • 7:15p • Evening Worship - Worshipping God through song…old hymns, contemporary worship music, and everything in between. We establish a heart of joy as we lift our hearts and voices to God and delve into the intimacy of His presence through beautiful and meaningful worship.
  • 8:00p • Evening Talk - A second chance to hear what God has been and continues to do in the heart and life of that week’s speaker.
